Filing an application for the board examination and renewing your license with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has now been made simpler and hassle-free by the commission’s Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS).
The PRC LERIS is an online portal where professionals and applicants alike can file their initial registration to take the board examination or renew their license upon the designated year of renewal.
The PRC has been strictly implementing the use of the PRC LERIS since March 30, 2016 – making it convenient for applicants and professionals in scheduling their appointments, from filing an application to payment.
LERIS PRC Online Application
To guide you with navigating the PRC LERIS, here is a step-by-step process on how you can file your PRC board exam application and LERIS appointment online.
However, before diving into the online portal, you must prepare the following PRC application requirements requirements that you will be needing during your application:
- Access to your valid email address. Make sure that this email address was not created with online generators;
- Personal information such as Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, etc. including the date of your college graduation;
- A community tax certificate (CTC) or cedula;
- A valid ID card;
- Scanned 2×2 ID photo of yourself. Make sure that this photo was taken no more than 6 months prior to the PRC online appointment. The photo must be taken with a white background and that your attire is with a collar; ears must be visible. Accessories such as eyeglasses are not allowed.
Now that you’re all set for your LERIS online application, here’s what you should do next:
1. Create an account on the PRC LERIS portal
Make sure that you have a stable internet connection as you undergo the online PRC application procedure. Go to the portal by going to the online PRC LERIS platform. Once you have been directed to the webpage, click the “Register” button; read the Terms and Conditions as laid out and click the “I Agree” button to proceed.
Provide the necessary personal information needed on the corresponding spaces. Make sure that the password you have used has at least 1 letter, number, a special character for security purposes. After filling this section, click the “Register” button to be redirected to the next step.
2. Provide the remaining personal information needed
Enter your log-in details on the Sign-In tab. Once you are redirected to your account, complete your profile by adding all the required personal information on the PRC online form, also including important details from your valid ID. This serves as the PRC online form to file your exam application.
Once you are satisfied with all the information on the PRC online form, you can now click the “Save Information” button at the bottom. Afterward, a confirmation pop-up will appear to confirm your details
3. Upload photo meeting the requirements mentioned earlier
Upload the photo that was mentioned earlier. If your photo does not meet the basic requirements stated, it will be rejected and could cause further delays in your application. Make sure that your photo meets all the requirements first before starting the online PRC application to avoid problems.
4. Set your preferred appointment schedule
Click the “Select Transaction” button to schedule an appointment. Now, select the Examination tab and fill out the necessary information required using the drop-down button. After so, click the “Proceed” button to be redirected to the next window.
In this step, choose your nearest/preferred PRC office where you plan to submit your application and select your preferred time and date. Take note that same-day transactions are not available. So be reminded that you should set your appointment in advance. After completing this, click the “Proceed” button to go to the next step of the process.
5. Pay for the PRC license registration fee – PRC payment options
In this step, you will choose your preferred PRC payment options for the application fee. You can pay through the following methods:

- Write down your reference number, take a picture or print the page containing your reference number
- Pay at your preferred UCPB Branch
b. PRC cashier
If you choose the PRC cashier as your PRC payment option, pay the necessary amount on the date of your appointment. Just be sure to provide proof that you have an appointment scheduled on the portal.

- Pay using your PayMaya wallet
d. Landbank, Bancnet, and GCash
If you choose Landbank as your payment option, under that you can choose between a Landbank account, Bancnet, or GCash. For over-the-counter payments through banks, please be advised that the payment validation may take up to 2 to 3 working days.

- Input account number
- Input PIN number

Side Note: Make sure you have a LANDBANK iAccess account to use this payment method.
Once your payment procedure has been confirmed, you can now go back to your account and choose the Existing Transaction tab. After so, print your application form which will conclude the final step of your online appointment. This concludes your online LERIS application in applying for the board exam.
Go to the PRC Office of your choice during your scheduled appointment date and time. Be sure to bring your printed application; as well as the documentary requirements specified during your appointment.
