How to Apply for the Licensure Board Exam for Repeaters

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has updated the standards and procedures for filing and processing repeater examinee applications for licensure examinations of all kinds in the Philippines.

PRC Resolution No. 2020-1267 (s.2020)

According to PRC Resolution No. 2020-1267 (s.2020), which was recently issued:

  • Board exam repeater examinees after June 2018 will no longer be expected to directly file their applications and submit copies of their requirements such as their NSO Birth Certificates, Marriage Certificates (for female applicants), and Transcript of Records in PRC Field Offices and PRC Service/Offsite Centers;
  • After completing the online application and payment of the examination fee, the repeater examinee must print the system-generated Notice of Admission (NOA) and present it to the examination supervisor/personnel on the day(s) of the licensure examination.
  • Scanned copies of other regulatory documentary requirements, such as the completion certificate of a refresher course, good moral certificate, Police/NBI clearance, and regional trial court clearances, must be submitted via the official email address of the concerned Regional Office/Service Centre. (Failure to apply the above documentation within 7 days of the issuance of the NOA would result in the cancellation of the aforementioned application.)
  • Once you pass the licensure examination, the PRC will request originals and photocopies of your records during the initial registration process.
  • During the licensure examination, the examinee’s identification would be based on a system-generated seat plan relative to the NOA.

The above regulation was issued in accordance with the national government’s Zero Contact Policy law as well as the provisions of the Anti-Red Tape Act (Republic Act No. 9485, s. 2007).
