Postponement of the Pharmacy Licensure Examination 2021

Over the weekend, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) released a statement announcing the indefinite postponement of the Pharmacy Licensure Examinations (PhLE) for 2021.

The announcement was made after the extension of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in the NCR+ region. They recognize that the examinations will only be conducted in areas that are under Modified General Community Quarantine.

Below is the official statement provided by the Professional Regulation Commission.

According to the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) directives to postpone the April 2021 Licensure Examinations in areas under Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to avoid cross-border transfer of examinees, the Pharmacy Licensure Examination (PhLE) scheduled for April 25 – 26, 2021 shall be conducted only in areas under Modifiable Community Quarantine (MCQ).
