Steps in filing an application for registration without examination

Fill out the PRC Application Form Without Board Examination along with the other documents to the Office of the Assistant Secretary for the mandatory pre-evaluation together. This office is located at the 3rd Flr., Main Bldg. of the PRC Central Office and Regional Offices processing counters.

Proceed to the Cashier to settle all fees – located on the Ground Flr. of the Main Bldg.

Proceed to purchase the required metered documentary stamps and notarization from the Customer Service Center – located on the ground floor of the Annex Bldg.

Submit a completed application form to the Asst. Secretary’s Office.

Check the status of the submission after three (3) months, at Tel. No. (02) 735-1533.

If working in the private sector, a certificate under oath given by an accredited official/officer of a firm, organization, organization, or corporation engaged in the agriculture industry demonstrating that the claimant has worked for at least five (5) years in a position requiring a baccalaureate degree in Agriculture or Career Service Professional eligibility; or (with the detailed job description).

Professional Electronics Engineer

Valid PRC ID as an Electronics Engineer or Electronics Engineer Certificate.

Valid IECEP ID or IECEP Certificate of Membership in Good Standing

Active self-practice certified experience in government service or in the private sector, as prescribed in the format by the Board, indicating the inclusive dates, companies worked for, specific responsibilities and its description, relevant accomplishments, and name, the position of immediate supervisor for a period of at least seven (7) years (inclusive and/or aggregate). Or, the candidate, from the date the applicant has taken oath as an Electronics and Communications Engineer or Electronics Engineer, is at least two (2) years liable for serious engineering work.

Three (3) certificates signed by three (3) PECE confirms that the applicant’s expertise record is factual (not required by registered and approved ECEs for at least seven (7) years according to R.A. 5734).

Submit a draft title and description to the EE Board for acceptance in terms of subject matter, organization, technical material, and presentation. If the application is denied, the Board will notify the claimant to explain why. Please apply the following criteria if approved:

An affidavit signed by three certified PEE. In conjunction with the affidavit executed in favor of the claimant, the Board will call the vouching PEE for an interview.

A brief overview of the applicant’s most notable and excellent achievement/contribution in the field of electrical engineering.

After the Board has approved the draft title and description, apply all specifications for processing along with the five (5) copies of the Technical Report (TER). The Commission will keep four (4) and the claimant will keep one (1).

Payment of P600.00 for the examination fee.
Any applicant who fails the oral examination/interview will have to wait at least one year from the date of notice of failure before attempting to reapply. Rule 14 shall be observed in the re-application.
