Got all of that ready? Then let’s jump right in.

How to use the OCSERGS?

To check your civil service examination rating online, we will need to use the system instigated by the Civil Service Commission, which is the OCSERGS online system.

The what? The OCSERGS stands for Online Career Service Examination Result Generation System. This is the Civil Service Commission’s online system that helps generate all the test results of the civil service examinees.

To make use of this convenient system, read the step-by-step process below:

  1. Go to the OCSERGS online portal using either a desktop or mobile device with a stable internet connection.
  2. Fill out the necessary information on the corresponding data fields. Make sure to use the drop-down menu when necessary.
  3. Review all the information you’ve filled out to make sure that they’re correct. After so, click the submit button.
  4. The OCSERGS system will start to generate the Notice of Rating which will provide you with your general rating as well as the rating per competency area.

Once you’ve found out that you’ve passed the civil service exam, you will then need to claim your Certificate of Eligibility. But before you race off to the nearest CSC regional office, here’s a little reminder that the Civil Service Commission will give their go signal to claim the Certificate of Eligibility approximately 30 days after the results are posted.

You are only allowed to claim the Certification of Eligibility once this announcement has been made.
